Benvenuti! This group is open to anyone who happens to be in Bologna for any time and reason, from tourism to work and study. You'll have the opportunity to meet people and share some of your experience in the city with them and your host, Dave, a true local eager to help you get the most out of your experience here.
Here are some examples of how you can benefit from participating in this group's meetings. You can:
- Meet new people
- Pick up new ideas about what to do and where to go
- Practise your Italian
- Learn about food and wine and how to avoid tourist traps
- Learn less-known facts about the city and its surroundings
- Get tips on how to live in Bologna as a resident
The meetings will be in person only, and you'll be notified when one is scheduled. There is no fixed venue or day, so checking the group page is always a good idea to get more precise information about the when and where. So is subscribing to email notifications (else, you won't be automatically updated when a new meetup is published).
This group was created by the same organiser of Italiamoci, an online Meetup group for practising Italian through conversations that has been successfully running for almost three years. Feel free to check that out here.
