This is your chance to hit pause on the mental loop that runs through your day. Step outside the constant hustle, take a breath, and reconnect with yourself. Here, you’ll find space to reflect, reset, and refocus in a way that feels true to you.
You’ll meet thoughtful, open-hearted entrepreneurs who understand your journey and cheer you on. This isn’t about business-to-business networking—it’s about meaningful, person-to-person connection, where your experiences are valued and celebrated.
No prep is needed. Just show up ready to share what’s working, what’s challenging, or whatever’s on your mind—in whatever way feels natural to you.

I’m Amelia Harshfield, the creator and moderator of these events. I currently have a track record of flipping real estate into 6 figures sales (twice), helped a business pivot into a multi-million dollar sale, buying property with little money out of my pocket, and having three businesses that I’ve had to close. I'm now building a bookkeeping business for companies that sell services rather than products called Elevated Ledger.
My entrepreneurship path hasn’t always gone as expected. But I keep learning and persevering while launching other ventures along the way. I’ve found that most people don’t know how to really listen to my current struggles with my business. So I’ve launched this group to help us feel heard, connected, and less isolated as business owners.
Event Details:
• Location: Kansas City Public Library – Central, in the coffee shop near the main entrance.
• Time: 10 AM to 11:30 AM, Tuesday, January 2nd.
• Do you have to stay the whole time? The group starts at 10 am. It’s important you are there are the beginning. However, you can leave early if necessary although it will be distracting for the group.
• What stage of entrepreneur is this group for? This group is open to entrepreneurs who have a business they are taking steps to build, from beginners and veterans. Just thinking about your idea is not right for this group. We believe you can learn from others no matter where they’re at with their business. If you are new, you can see where you are going. If you are a veteran, you can reflect on how far you’ve come. Quality people are our focus.
• How Many People Per Event? Each group has 4 participants and myself, as the moderator/participant.
• What We Talk About: Each meeting has different topics. For example, in January we cover our relationship with goals. Particularly what has gone well and what we can do better with goals. The topic of the meeting will be posted in the event description.
• How often are the meetings? The meetings occur once every three weeks, with some holiday fluctuations.
• Dress Code: Wear what works for you—suit, sweats, or something in between.
• Food/Drinks: The coffee shop has limited drink and food options, or you can bring something for yourself.
• What is the cost? It’s $22 per person to join.
• How to Pay: Payment is accepted through Venmo or PayPal. Your spot is reserved once payment is received. Refunds are available if you cancel with more than 24 hours-notice or if an emergency occurs.

• Why Payment? The fee helps cover marketing costs and compensates me for my time and effort. Plus, I’ve found that when introverts invest financially, they’re more likely to show up and engage.
