Explorer: Getting Someone’s World
A Circling® & Authentic Relating Intensive - ONLINE

"Wow, nobody listens to me like you do! In a way that I not only feel understood, but I start to discover and understand myself even better."

If people don't say this to you or if you'd like them to say it more often... If you'd like to create more aliveness and connection in every interaction & relationship you have... Then this workshop is for you!

During this Circling® Approach Intensive Weekend, we will practice the art of getting another's world. Here's what's possible:

- Develop your capacity for deep empathy, authentic connection, and full acceptance of what is true in the moment
- Learn to listen to and reflect someone, perhaps like they’ve never been listened to before.
- Follow your natural curiosity so that every connection you form is genuine and alive.
- Increase your interpersonal intelligence.
- Develop your “mind reading” skills of attunement.
- Deepen your skills of compassion, understanding, reflection and wonderment.
- Get underneath the surface conversation to what someone is actually feeling or needing.
- Deepen your capacity to really hear and support someone without having to “fix” them or give unsolicited advice.

What does the Original Circling Approach look like in terms of format?

A group of 4-10 people sit in a circle and put their attention primarily on one person, and, with the help of a facilitator, notice what it's like being with this person moment by moment, share impact and observations, and co-explore what that person’s experience and world is like, essentially getting into deep relationship with what is most true and really alive for that person.

The principle is simple in essence but the practice in full expression is radical and rare. We experience “being seen” for who we authentically are without limits, one of the most rewarding experiences we can have as human beings, the Circling Method teaches us exactly how to see and celebrate each person for the unique flavor they bring to the world.

We don’t give advice or try to fix anyone, which can so easily backfire. Rather, we welcome and stay with “what is”, so we can relax into the truth of our experience, feel supported, know we are not alone and allow the experience of this to deepen and more sustainably transform us. The results are often magical.

“Circling is to get in a deep relationship with what is.”
- Guy Sengstock, Founder of The Original Circling Approach
