Authentic Relating Dating! (speed dating that doesn't suck)

This event will be guided and meaningful. We’ll take you through several fun yet deep exercises that will help you relax into connection with those you’re paired with. Come get your flirt on, but like, consciously.

This Authentic Relating Dating event welcomes women, men, and non-binary people, monogamous and non-monogamous, for heterosexual matches.

Age range: late 20s to early 50s.

This event is for you if you’re wanting:

• to connect with others in a meaningful way (no small talk)
• to practice relating authentically in a dating context
• to be playful within a safe container
• to explore communication skills you can apply in any relationship
• to connect with other folks that are into consciousness stuff ;)

What will actually happen?

You’ll connect with up to ten people throughout the evening. We’ll do our best to pair you with a gender different from your own.

Basically we’ll play some relating games! There will be a break in the middle, then more games! Then there will be a bit of time afterwards for general connection.

Each exercise will be guided such that you and your match will get to drop in and connect on a deep level (if you choose). You are always at choice around how deep to go and how much to share.

We're going to do our best to get an even gender balance, though it may not be perfect (no guarantees). What we can guarantee is that you'll be linked up with some wonderful people that are likely to uplift and inspire you.

There will also be some time to socialize after the event is officially over.

Practicalities:

YOU WILL ONLY BE REGISTERED IF YOU GET YOUR TICKET THROUGH EVENTBRITE. GET YOUR TICKET HERE TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT.

Cost: $55. Earlybird tickets available for $45 (until January 20th).

Location: Private home in Westchester (near LAX). Address will be shared with participants after ticket purchase.
Time: Doors open at 2:30p; event is from 3-6p. Please be on time! Doors will lock at 3:05p.
Dress code: Something comfy (you’ll be on the floor sometimes). It’s also a shoes-off home, so keep that in mind.

Ashley Beck

Ashley is a Transformational Somatic Healer who has been working with energy and facilitating Authentic Relating for over 7 years. Certified in Somatic Experiencing, she is passionate about supporting people to live their most expansive lives and remind everyone of the magic of who they are.

Melanie Curtin

Melanie is a co-founder of AuthenticDC, and a sex & relationship coach for men and couples. She’s passionate about combating the loneliness epidemic and facilitating more connection in the world through relationships as well as through communal living opportunities. She's also the host of the popular podcast Dear Men: How to Rock Sex, Dating & Relationships With Women.
