Are you passionate about stories and their power to transform societies? Do you want to learn how to tell your own authentica narratives for the screen and other mediums ? Then this workshop is perfect for you!
The Authentic storytelling workshops covers the fundamentals of screenwriting and narrative creation, while being grounded in diasporic, somatic and indigenous forms of storytelling practices. We focus on cultivating your own unique writing voice and opening up more choices in the stories you tell and how you tell them. We tap into collective/familial traditions, oral histories and myths, personal experiences and spirituality, dreams, ecology, non-linear time and other multi-layered modalities to craft your most authentic, compelling and richly diverse story, full of memorable and complex characters.
We hold our taster sessions every Saturday afternoon in Berlin. Keep an eye out on our events page for the next one.

In this intimate taster session, we cover the basics of writing and explore the art of storytelling through a diasporic and indigenous lens. We use writing prompts that tap into individual identities, non-linear time, ecology and several other somatic modalities to empower you with more choices in the stories you tell and how you tell them.
We keep the group size small and cozy, so everyone gets a chance to create and share work in a supportive and inclusive environment.
