AIM Leadership Foundations
Group Coaching Session 3:
Authority & Communication
Using the AIM Compass for Clear and Credible Leadership
This month inside AIM Leadership Foundations, we’re focusing on one of the most overlooked leadership skills: maintaining authority in your communication.
Many capable leaders unintentionally weaken their authority when they speak.
They over-explain.
They soften their message.
They hedge their decisions.
They adjust their communication to manage other people’s reactions.
Over time, this quietly erodes credibility.
In this session we’ll explore:
• Why leaders sometimes weaken their authority without realizing it
• The subtle communication habits that dilute credibility
• How hesitation, over-explaining, and second-guessing show up in leadership language
• How the AIM Compass helps leaders communicate with clarity, steadiness, and confidence
This is not a lecture or motivational talk.
AIM sessions are facilitated leadership conversations designed to help participants reflect on their own leadership patterns and strengthen how they communicate.
You are welcome to participate actively or simply listen and reflect.
Respectful dialogue and thoughtful engagement are expected.
