### 🧠 What Is Counterproductive Overthinking?

### And what do we do about it?

Episode Three: What is Duality of the Mind?

Many of us think more will lead to clarity —
yet sometimes thinking becomes the very thing that keeps us stuck.

In this session, we’ll explore counterproductive overthinking:
the kind that loops, exhausts, distances us from our bodies, and quietly increases stress rather than insight.

Rather than trying to “stop thinking,” we’ll look at:

  • When thinking is helpful vs. when it becomes self-defeating
  • How the nervous system, attention, and emotion interact with cognition
  • Why awareness of felt experience often restores balance faster than analysis
  • Simple ways to shift from mental loops back into presence

This is not a lecture and not group therapy.
There’s no pressure to speak, share, or perform.

Listening quietly is full participation.

We’ll move gently between science, self-reflection, and lived experience, staying grounded, curious, and human.

🌀 What Do You Feel? is a continuing series exploring emotion, awareness, and regulation — one episode at a time.

Come as you are.
Stay at your own pace.
Leave with a little more clarity — and a little more ease.
