Otford Circular Walk

What To Expect & Important Event Info:
🌿After a steep initial climb up onto the North Downs, you are rewarded with some fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Descending back to Otford along part of the North Downs Way national trail, you also pass by Otford Pond. Interestingly, this pond is a grade 2 listed building, the only duckpond in the country to be so. It is thought to date back to Anglo-Saxon.
Please note that the route has a short on-road section, please take care around any traffic you may encounter. There are also some steep climbs, and some rather muddy sections, so make sure to come prepared with good outdoor footwear.

🟨 Total walking Time to Finish - 3.5 hours estimated with breaks
🟩 Total Distance - 5.6 miles or 9km
🟦 Elevation - Uneven, some hills, up and downs along the way.
🟪 Difficulty - Moderate. The distance is manageable, but there are multiple hills and almost 1,000 ft of ascent. Participants should be comfortable walking for 2.5–3 hours on uneven terrain

We intend to finish our walk with lunch/drinks in a pub
Expect relaxed vibes, beautiful surroundings, and fun conversations! This event is especially mindful of neurodivergent needs, so there’s no pressure to talk or "perform." Come as you are!
