# 🍝 Ralph's Grasso Italian-American Social ~ Soho

Join Ralph and Krysia for a relaxed community social and group meal at Grasso, an independent family-owned Italian-American restaurant in the heart of Soho. 💜
There's a particularly personal connection to this event: Ralph is part of the Grasso family, and his brother Seanie Grasso is the restaurant's owner and manager.

We're therefore delighted to be able to bring our community to Grasso for an evening of good food, conversation and socialising together. 😊

Grasso's food draws on the family's Sicilian heritage and New York Italian-American traditions, with homemade pasta sauces, pizza and classic Italian-American dishes including chicken parm and spaghetti & meatballs.

We've arranged for a semi-private area to be reserved for our group, giving us a comfortable space to enjoy the evening together.
This is intended to be a relaxed social evening rather than a structured activity — come along, enjoy some food, meet other members and socialise at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.

## 🍝 What To Expect

• A relaxed community dinner and social evening.
• A semi-private area reserved for our group.
• An opportunity to meet other members over good food and conversation.
• No structured activities or expectation to socialise constantly.
• You are very welcome to attend on your own. You don't need to know anyone beforehand.
• Ralph will be hosting the evening, with support from the wider community organising team.

⚠️ There are only 27 places available for this event.
Because we're reserving a specific area with the restaurant, anyone wishing to attend will need to secure their place with a £10 deposit.
Please follow these steps:
1️⃣ RSVP to this Meetup event.
2️⃣ Send the £10 deposit after RSVPing.
3️⃣ Your place will be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
💷 Deposit deadline: Sunday 20th September 2026
Please do not send a deposit before RSVPing on Meetup, as places will be allocated according to the Meetup attendee list.

## 💜 Accessibility & Dietary Requirements

Grasso is a ground-floor venue with wheelchair-accessible access and an accessible toilet.
The restaurant offers a range of dietary options, including gluten-free pasta and pizza bases, vegetarian and vegan options. Chicken is halal, although other meats are not halal.
If you have any accessibility, sensory or dietary requirements that you'd like us to be aware of, please feel free to contact the event organisers before the event.

🎂 What Happens During the Monthly Birthday Circle?
• We pause midway through the event to celebrate members with birthdays occuring that month!
• We bring out a cake, sing Happy Birthday, and birthday attendees can blow out candles together
• Cake is shared with birthday guests, with an optional group photo
