What we’re about
This is a social group for adult autistic women (trans women are women) and nonbinary people (including diverse gender expression) living in the Greater Boston metro area.
We hold both virtual and in-person meetup events, and aim to foster friendships and community among our members.
Past events have included "chatting and crafting" meetups at the Boston Public Library, a group dinner and parade viewing at Rhode Island PrideFest, and monthly Zooms.
Is this group for you? This group is…
- A LGBTQIA+ safe and inclusive space, with a primarily feminine membership and culture. Among others, trans women, genderqueer, intersex, and nonbinary people are entirely welcome. Members of all races and cultural backgrounds are welcome. If you object to this inclusiveness, this is not the group for you. If you identify as a man, this is not the group for you.
- For adult autistics of all ages, whether formally diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or questioning/unsure.
- For people who want to meet with and socialize with other autistic adults.

Ground rules for Autistic Women of Greater Boston Social Group:
- This group is for self-identified autistic women and nonbinary individuals (trans-inclusive). None of us will be policing what this means for those who identify with it.
- All group members will be respectful of race, gender, sexuality, expression, ability, and anything else that is important to the identity of a person, and will be removed if they make others feel unsafe.
- We are by autistic people, for autistic people and want to be as accessible and accommodating as possible. Please reach out to the organizers with any and all issues at autistic.women.boston@gmail.com.
