Autodesk Design Night #3

As designers, communication is at the heart of what we do - we strive to make products and services that are intuitive, understandable and expressive. Simultaneously, we are also part of a team, an organization, or a community. This is why effective communication with developers, clients, product managers and our fellow designers is key to our success.

On our upcoming Autodesk Design Night, Maria Giudice (Autodesk), Ziv Kitaro and Shira Weinberg (Microsoft) will share their thoughts on designing for effective communication, on design leadership, and on collaboration across disciplines, teams, and even continents.

Ziv Kitaro - The International Single Space
Keys to cultivate communication and increase productivity when you’re not all in the same place. (Lecture is in English)

Shira Weinberg - Who's the Bot?
The rise of instant messages as the preferred communications platform by consumers, made many companies shift their customer-facing services from applications to chat bots. Join us for a deep dive into the bot revolution and learn what leading companies are doing in this field and why are they shifting their customer-facing services from applications to chat bots. We will also review scenarios combining chat bots and AI by looking at Microsoft’s Cortana in Skype as an example. (Lecture is in Hebrew)

Maria Giudice - Remaking the Making Company
Not that long ago new technologies were magical, and we were so happy when they just worked. But today we expect more, and assume, demand even, that digital experiences don’t just work really well but are simple, intuitive and fun to use too. This means companies need to stop thinking purely about technology, and think about a holistic experience for their customers. (Lecture is in English)
