Regulatory pitfalls: Reading between the lines of the UN R155 with insights from recent audits
In recent years, it has become increasingly clear that there are considerable differences in the understanding of the UN R155. These discrepancies mainly arise due to gray areas within the regulation.
With the help of practical examples, we aim to shed light on these gray areas, demonstrating effective solutions for both procedural and technical challenges we have encountered during our projects. Additionally, we will look at the unclear dividing line between R155 and related topics such as software updates (R156) and autonomous driving (R157).
