Join me for an early morning walk along Wellington's beautiful waterfront, followed by coffee together at one of the beach-side cafes. Browse the Sunday markets afterwards with food truck kai & live buskers

For people who enjoy a peaceful start to the day by the ocean and some warm company to enjoy afterwards, all within the creative, colourful, food paradise background of the Sunday Morning Markets.

Dogs are welcome, in summer they need to stay on a leash on Oriental Bay.

The Harbourside Markets are Wellington's best weekly market, with a huge range of fresh produce stalls, artisan and conscious food producers, crafts and sweet treats as well as a mouthwatering range of food trucks serving the best street food and coffee, accompanied by fantastic live music artists.

AGENDA
We'll meet at 'Solace in the Wind' The Naked Man sculpture (pictured) at the back of Te Papa on the boardwalk. I'll be there from 7:45am and we start walking at 8:00am.
We'll walk across the bridge past the marina, follow the waterline by the boat sheds and out to the concrete slab headland for views, then along Oriental Bay to the fountain.
Depending on the weather and the group, on the way back we may wander on to the beach for a paddle or play with the dogs, if it's fine we can coffee at Gelissimo right on Freyberg beach, or be a little cosier inside at Raglan Roast. We finish at the markets for those that wish to browse, eat, shop and enjoy the live buskers.

*We'll go ahead rain or shine! So bring whatever you need to be warm and dry :)
