Botanic Gardens Walk, Lunch & Space Place Film
Details
Spring is blooming at the gardens and everything is coming to life so it's the perfect time to be there. We will begin walking through the seasonal beds, followed by lunch at Picnic Cafe and end at Space Place for a screening of the beautiful film The Navigators.
AGENDA
12pm We'll meet beside the Sound Shell at the main entrance off Glenmore St and explore the new sustainably planted seasonal beds, with pockets of tulips and spring flowers. From there we'll take the path through the herb garden to the Lady Norwood Rose Garden and have lunch at Picnic Cafe in the Begonia House at around 12:45/1pm
After lunch we'll follow the sculpture path up the hill to Space Place for a 2pm screening of locally made film "Ngā Tohunga Whakatere - The Navigators" on the stunning digital, full-dome planetarium screen.

Tickets to the planetarium include entry to all galleries and exhibitions that we'll spend time exploring to finish.
Optional walk back through the gardens together afterwards.
