Knot 2: The Lance of Taurian

The New Age, the Age of Aquarius, is thought to be imminent. This event is a study of paintings , mainly in the National Gallery, dealing with the precession of the equinoxes. We start with the paintings of George and the Dragon to understand how they releate to the precession and then move on to paintings related to the different astrological ages. We will look at art related to the ages of Taurus, Aries, Pisces and also to the coming Aquarian Age.

The Grail legends also detail important astronomical events related to the precession of the exquinoxes. In this talk we look at how this relates to the 'lance of Taurian' which is found by Parzival when he leaves the Grail Castle for the first time. We also look at the tarot cards to see how they relate to the precession, in particular the Judgement card, which some see as related to the coming of the Aquarian Age.

The session will take around one and a half hours with additional time for questions.
