‘Ukulele players of all levels are welcome to join us at our jams. It’s a great opportunity to practice informally, take some risks, and enjoy the ukulele community. I encourage participants at each jam to find the challenge(s) that feel right for them, and not worry about what feels out of reach. There’s something to learn from every song and I do my best to help everyone find their connection point to the songs we play.
We play songs that pull from a variety of genres, songwriters, and musical traditions, from folk favorites from The Carter Family to an ukulele adaption of “The Wind Cries Mary”, by Jimi Hendrix. Songbooks are provided. For a preview or to download / print ahead of time, join the newsletter.
