Social Kayak & SUP Paddle in Port San Luis Harbor w/Expert Guide and Free Lesson

Avila Beach Social Paddle in Port San Luis Harbor. This will be a mellow flatwater social-paddle-mingle-meetup. If you're a beginner--don't worry. A professional guide will be provided for the entire trip (free of charge) to help new paddlers get familiar with the area and improve their paddling techniques. This is the perfect opportunity to meet other paddlers and get more comfortable paddling in the ocean. Safe, fun, and well, fun!

Bring your own gear or rent a kayak or SUP right there at Avila Beach Paddlesports (major discounts for AB Paddlers). If you would like to save time or have a lot of gear to get ready, we recommend getting down to Fisherman's Beach before the 8:30 meetup time to set up your own gear, then come up to the shop to meet your fellow paddlers. We'll head to the beach as a group and go from there.

Discount Rentals Rates (PLEASE RSVP & LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED TO RENT KAYAK OR SUP SO WE CAN HAVE IT READY TO GO):

Single kayaks, double kayaks, and stand up paddleboards will be available to rent $15 per person for 2 hours of paddling (lesson and guide is FREE). If you need a wetsuit, the cost is $18.

8:30 am: Meet & Greet (and rent kayak/SUP if you need to) at Avila Beach Paddlesports rental office.

9:00-11:000: Put in @ Fisherman's Beach. Free mini-lesson or refresher kayak/SUP tutorial if you need it. Then we'll all meetup in the water and do a fun harbor loop. A guide will be in the water to help you out with anything you need.
