We’re mixing things up this time with a laid-back lunch gathering at the Auction House Food Hall in Fletcher (they have a great variety of lunch options). This is a casual meetup with no formal presentation, just good food and good conversation.

• A conversation around freelancing: Come ready to share stories, tips, and questions about freelancing in instructional design.
• Book Chat: We’ll also touch on the book Jim mentioned: Performance-Focused Learner Surveys: Using Distinctive Questioning to Get Actionable Data and Guide Learning Effectiveness by Will Thalheimer. Whether you’ve read it or are just curious, we’d love your thoughts.
• Connection & Community: Meet other instructional designers in the area, chat about projects, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with peers.
