Diego will cover several aspects of the Go language that make it such a great language to develop a large range of applications. He will cover the community around the language, as well as the philosophy, tooling and some of his favorite features.

Diego Medina is currently the VP of Engineering at Ascendant Compliance. Before that, he has held several engineering positions for companies across the US. He works out of his home in Hendersonville, NC where he lives with his wife, two kids and three cats. He has been using Go at work for about 3 years where Scala wasn't a good fit.
