Awareness & Consciousness Discussion Group Sunday Meeting & After Party

NEW START TIME OF 11 AM

If the meme doesn't tell you enough about the event series, here's a bit to make it more clear: we're a bunch of wise-cracking armchair philosophers who are trying to make sense of What Is.

Topics will include Philosophies (Non-Dual, Dualist/Monist, Religious), Psychologies (Depth, Analytical, Individual, etc.), Ontologies (yikes!), Cosmologies, Mythologies, Astrosciences (Astrology, Astronomy) and Entheogens. Topics that won't be discussed include politics and all of the conspiracies playing out in mainstream media these days.

We will no doubt attract a number of messiahs, you don't wanna miss out in the event that one of them actually is THE ONE. Just wait until you see the divine lightning bolts and fireworks when you happen to get God, two Messiahs, and Moses in a room together! Fortunately, Nevada is a "Stand Your Ground" state so any disruptive whackadoos will be pointed to the curb with the safety off. (You can tell this isn't our first rodeo; we're retired spiritual rodeo clowns.)

The discussion will start at 11 am, you're welcome to arrive 10 minutes early to secure your favorite position on the couch or your favorite comfy meditation cushion (or bring your own). The entire event is intended to be an open discussion between all group members with order maintained by the hosts. Any presentations or lectures that might support the ongoing group discussion will be offered during a different time slot in the calendar.

The group discussion is scheduled for two hours, it's common for people to linger for a bit afterward for breakout conversations. It's a pet free house that frequently has incense burning, with cigarette smoking done in the back yard. Coffee will be available. You're welcome to bring snacks to share, though loud or crunchy items should not be eaten in the main room while the discussion is taking place. There's ample parking, especially on Sky Mountain were there are no neighbor's driveways to contend with. You do not need to remove your shoes but are welcome to do so at John Arness' bench.

There is always audio recording taking place and there will occasionally video will be recorded. ATTENDANCE AT THIS EVENT IMPLIES YOUR RELEASE TO USE ALL RECORDED MATERIAL.
