Vajrayana practitioners often complete their own personal retreats along with group retreats, either back-to-back or on separate occasions. Personal retreats allow us to focus on our own practice goals, meet the dharma very directly, face our fears, and experience deep quiet and solitude. A personal retreat requires planning, discipline, focus, intention, and support. Over two sessions, we will discuss what is needed to plan and execute a successful retreat, as well as various challenges that may arise. Each class will end with a meditation.
Classes are offered on the ancient basis of Dana, also known as "give from the heart" or "pay what you choose." This allows you to pay according to your heart, and to what you value. Dana can be sent by e-transfer to dana@awakenintoronto.org or by PayPal to https://paypal.me/awakeningintoronto
