Breathe Into the Present

In this initial practice we're going to work with the breath, body and mind to return us to a place of peace, security and presence. I hope to share some simple practices and wisdom that we can use to help us remember the power of the healer within.
All are welcome.
Please bring a yoga mat(Zafu/bolster to sit on if needed), sweatshirt/jacket, water, a journal(for anything that might come up), and an open heart and mind.
*As with any kind of movement of the body, breathwork has contraindications for some people. It is your responsibility to know thyself and what your individual fitness level is. If you have any breathing issues such as asthma, have any heart issues, or are pregnant, some of the breathing exercises we will be practicing should be avoided.
