Apple Vision Pro & Spatial Computing, Sponsored by CrossComm & Hololight

Join us to demo and discuss the new Apple Vision Pro headset! We'll have a few devices that people will be able to try out, and hear from people who have started using it and developing for it.

We're delighted to be sponsored this month by two great Durham-based companies, both of whom will share demos and present their vision. CrossComm, rated the #1 AR/VR App Developer in Southeast, has already developed an application for the Apple Vision Pro. Hololight develops enterprise-grade immersive software and technology to optimize engineering, stream XR apps, and scale XR deployments.

We will have hands-on demos of the Apple Vision Pro headset from as many wonderful volunteers that have them are willing to share for demos. (Please let us know if you have one or more you're willing to show off!)

Then we'll have a panel of XR folks to talk about their experiences with the Vision Pro and their thoughts on how it will impact spatial computing and the XR industry. We'll also have some bites to eat and provide some beverages. :)

We'll meet at The Bullpen @ American Underground, Durham's coworking community for innovators, creators, and changemakers.

The event is free and all are welcome, but there are limited spots so please register if you're going to go (and unregister later if you find you can't make it to free up a spot for others).
