We are here to advance the augmented reality industry by connecting and empowering its community.
AWE Nites are part of the AWE family. AWE is an entity operated by AugmentedReality.org, a non-profit which is on a mission to foster adoption of AR to over 1 Billion users by 2020. Established in 2009, AugmentedReality.org has been hosting events to help achieve this goal both in hosting larger conference and expos which take place in the USA, Europe, Asia and MEA and supporting local meetup chapters worldwide such as yours.
As such, AWE Nites share in AugmentedReality.org’s mission to foster adoption of AR to over 1 Billion users in 2020 or as the mission statement states: “We are here to advance the augmented reality industry by connecting and empowering its community.”
To achieve this goal on a local level, AWE Nites aim to act act as a lighthouse for AR for the city they exist to bring the community together: “A place for developers, creators, investors, founders, corporate decision makers and curious folk to come together to celebrate the activity and devote conviction around building an augmented reality (AR) hub.
