🏎️🏎️ Mario Kart Tournament! 🎮

We are Karting on the 21st at The Den in Koenji!

Oh yes, it is happening, a Mario Kart tournament!

The Tournament:

We'll have two switches and two screens to get as many people playing at the same time as possible (in the end we won't connect the switches for 8P, it's much easier to run the tournament by keeping them separate). Play over a few rounds where you'll get points with a final round for the top finishers!

You don't have to be good, just come and have some fun and make new friends :)

Try to be on time or even early if possible. The sooner we get people playing the more games we'll be able to play!

*As always I really am bringing people from another event, so "organizer +12" is legit*

The venue:

The Den in Koenji, just south of Koenji station. It's easy to find and the bar is on the 2nd floor while the tournament is happening on the 3rd.

It's an awesome space that is perfect for this tournament. The food is great (I recommend the smash burger) and they have both bottled beers in fridges and craft beers on tap.

There is a one drink minimum (but I'm sure most of you will exceed that easily).

Last thing - I'm going to write to each of you to confirm attendance. I'm trying my best to maximize the number of players and games played so I will need to know how many people are showing up before the event. Therefore, only people on the "going" list can join!

Mario Kart Tournament: Season 1??

This is our first event at The Den, and if all goes well and they want us back Mario Kart might become a monthly event. If so, this will be the first tournament of season 1! A season might last 4 months (so 4 tournaments) and prizes will be given out at the end of each season. I had initially planned on giving out prizes at this event, but in the end I have to pay the bar to have the tournament, so you're playing for pride this time!
