About us
Awesome Gatherings for Writers is a welcoming space--sometimes in-person, sometimes virtual--for emerging and established writers of all ages and backgrounds in and around Baltimore, MD. Workshops, master classes, convenings of all sorts supporting writers' and authors' goals while deepening knowledge around craft. Above all, our gatherings help writers feel seen, supported, and offer strategies for managing self-doubt.

Location not specified yetIn honor of Women's Fiction Day, sponsored by the Women's Fiction Writers Association, I'm hosting a freewheeling in-person discussion about what's involved in weaving speculative and dystopian themes into women's fiction. Wonder what "women's fiction" is? You don't have to identify as female to write it--so long as you center a female protagonist and her interior life in the novel.
