END OF SUMMER LOOP: East Mtns Sandia
Details
It's still green up in the East Mtns, some flowers are still present, and the blue spruce, aspens, & pines are at super healthy & at peak, so let's head out on a 7 mile loop to get exercise & see some beauty! Much of it is in the shade, but the beginning in the cool mtn weather will be in sun. Some grasses are fading, but some are at peak. Meet at 8:15 at Smith's off I-40 & Tramway, SW side. Bring a windbreaker, just in case of a sprinkle, and some funding for the carpool driver. There's not a ton of parking, so carpool. They require either a Pass (Senior, Interagency, etc.), or $3 permit, for each vehicle. We'll be back plenty early enough to get things done at home, if needed. Dogs must be on a leash. We may have 2 Group leaders if needed. As usual, neither Meetup nor Organizer is responsible for injury, sickness, accident, or property loss/damage: Attendees assume ALL responsibility for themselves. Failure to post off & not showing may result in being Waitlisted on future events.
