Ever wanted to do something out of your comfort zone and didn't want to wait for friends to make a decision to join up? Awesome Things to do was formed for that reason in mind while saving some cash. Organizers look at deals offered by discount websites and turn them into events so you don't have to go at it alone and often it's an even better deal when we have a group rate. We're fun, well-organized, and aren't afraid to speak up to vendors who do not hold up to their end of the deal. Most of all, we're sociable. Damn it, we are sociable.
We also join weekly party like Silent Disco's. What is a Silent Disco or Quiet Clubbing? Each person receives a pair of wireless headphones. This allows you to adjust the volume and choose between up to three DJs by flicking a switch.
Do you like listening to: Top40, Trance, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Latin, Salsa, merengue, Bachata, Rap, Electronic, Line Dancing, 80's, 90's, and everything else? Then Quiet Clubbing is for you...

Get ready for the most scandalously festive night of the season! The North Pole is rolling out the red (and green) carpet for all your favorite classic Christmas cartoon characters — from Rudolph and Frosty to the Grinch, Yukon Cornelius, and Charlie Brown.
It’s the ultimate holiday bash — complete with eggnog, gossip, and a touch of Christmas chaos! Characters are schmoozing, campaigning for their Hall of Fame nominations, and indulging in some inter-cartoon rivalries, rumored affairs, and frosty attitudes. But just as the festivities reach their peak, the unthinkable happens and it is up to you to help solve the mystery…
🎄 Arrival & Check-In:
Step into the magic as you arrive at the venue and check in with our cheerful staff. You’ll receive your character assignment for the evening’s mystery — unless you’ve already reserved one in advance (character lists will be sent out closer to the event!).
🍸 Mix, Mingle & Munch:
Grab a festive cocktail, order a bite to eat, and enjoy mingling with your fellow guests as anticipation builds. (Food and drinks are pay-as-you-go.)
🕵️♀️ The Party Begins:
Once everyone’s checked in, the party kicks off! You will become one of the characters in the story and get to interact with all the others! You’ll work your way through a web of clues, secrets, and scandal as you chat and interact with other partygoers to solve The Case.

When the mystery is solved, the fun doesn’t end — you’re invited to stay and celebrate at our Holiday Grinchfest Party, free with your admission! Dance, laugh, and toast to the holiday season!
FAQs:
Can I come alone? Yes 90% of those attending will likely register on their own but you are invited to bring as many guests as you would like just register for that amount.
Age-specific? All are welcome 21 and over.

Tis the season to meet new people! Join us in a hidden holiday speakeasy in the east village with multiple hidden rooms! It is always great to meet new people especially around the holidays but sometimes we do not know if and in what category they will fit into our lives! This often depends upon our attraction, comfortability level, conversation, mental stimulation and the overall energy we feel from this person! Different people give us different vibes!
Here is how it works: upon entry into the beautiful and sultry “Sincerely, Ophelia”, you will have a choice of 10 unlimited bookmarks to choose from! The categories are friend, wing women, wing man, let’s do brunch/dinner together, workout partner, romantic, discover NYC together, summer buddy and beach buddy!
If so inclined, you can write your contact info on the back of this bookmark and hand it to the person of choice or leave it with the host to give to that person.
Ladies will receive complimentary champagne/ prosecco/drink of choice upon entry before 8pm and for everyone, for every drink that is purchased, the next will be complimentary for your new friend until 8:30pm.
There will be complimentary appetizers/light bites at 7pm and you can bring your own food into the venue! This is a private ticketed event only as early bird prices are limited.
What to expect:
- Meeting with up to 50 people who are looking to make new connections in a new beautiful lounge that has superior ambiance, product and service!

How It works:
In the beautiful private room within Sincerely’ Ophelia, the speed dating will be held. Each round will be 5 minutes long. Men will rotate, and ladies will sit! After speed dating is over, Men will go navigate to a separate section, as both genders will be separated before and after speed dating. Participants will then receive their matches in real time, 15 to 30 mins after the events ends. Those who match will have exclusive 1 on 1 time in an enclosed private booth in order to become better acquainted. Everyone who signs on, will receive complimentary admission to the singles after party occurring in a separate room.
What to expect:
- Intimate and beautiful private setting and complimentary option afterparty with additional singles.
- Ladies will receive complimentary prosecco/champagne/drink of choice before 7pm arrival. For every drink you purchase, your next of the same value will be complimentary until 8:30pm, but you have to offer that to a different person
- SPEED DATING will start at 7:15pm (please arrive at 7pm). Everyone will have friend connect time for both genders until speed dating begins. Both genders will be separated before speed dating starts.
- Matches delivered in real time 15 to 30 minutes after the event. You will receive your optional 1 on 1 time by 8:45pm with matches delivered on your phone by 9pm
- Newly matched potential couples will receive exclusive personal 1 on 1 time inside a private VIP booth 15 minutes after the event ends
