It’s no secret that men and women often approach dating and relationships from completely different perspectives. Join us for a fun, relaxed evening where we explore those differences—and maybe even solve a few of the mysteries along the way!
Hosted by NYSN staff, this lively event combines cocktails, socializing, and an interactive group discussion where you’ll hear honest opinions, share experiences, and dive into the topics that matter most.
How It Works:
5:00 PM – Doors Open
Arrive early to mix, mingle, and enjoy cocktails. During this time, you’ll have the chance to anonymously submit questions, comments, or observations for the opposite sex. Just drop them in the box—no names, no pressure.
Icebreaker Activity
We’ll kick things off with a fun, lighthearted game to get everyone comfortable and engaged.
5:30 PM – Group Discussion Begins
We’ll gather as a group and start pulling submissions from the box. Each will be read aloud anonymously, sparking open discussion, responses, and friendly debate.
Topics May Include:
Dating apps and services, communication styles, behavior, expectations, attraction, and more.
This is your chance to get real insight into what people are actually thinking. Expect candid answers, surprising perspectives, and plenty of laughs. You might leave feeling enlightened—or even a little frustrated—but you’ll definitely be entertained.
After the event, stick around at the bar to keep the conversation going.

Absolutely—most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.
Are submissions anonymous?
Yes. There’s no way to trace questions back to individuals.
Will there be professionals present?
No—this is meant to be a fun, participant-driven discussion, not a counseling session.
Dress Code:
Smart casual. No need for jackets or ties—just look neat, feel comfortable, and be yourself.
