Hill of Tara — rain, royalty and a little imagination!

Hi folks,
This Sunday, we’re heading to the Hill of Tara to test our new tour app, and we’d love your feedback.
Rain is likely, so please bring waterproofs, suitable walking shoes and a spare pair of shoes for the journey home.

We’ll start with a 30-minute tour, followed by tea or coffee in the local café. There will then be some free time to walk the perimeter track before our minibus returns to Dublin.

Tara is famously associated with Ireland’s ancient high kings. Today, its earthworks offer only a glimpse of its past. Our digital tour aims to bring that world to life, taking you on a journey through the crowning of a new king.
