Managing Security in the Cloud and AWS Meetup Relaunch

Security in the cloud is of the utmost importance. Being able to ensure that applications are properly secured is always a concern when using a cloud provider such as AWS. While it is important to be mindful of security in the cloud, using a cloud provider does not come without benefits. In this talk, key areas of securing cloud native applications are explored. Security benefits that come along with using a cloud provider are also discussed.

Jarred Kozlick is a Senior Consultant at Rural Sourcing located in the Albuquerque office. He has worked with AWS since 2012, and has worked on projects ranging from managing hybrid cloud architecture to green field serverless development. He currently holds both the Solutions Architect Professional and DevOps Engineer Professional Certifications from AWS.

We will also be discussing the future of the meetup, and new formats for running meetups. Invite your friends!
