Up and Running with AWS

Donny is a Consultant at Rural Sourcing located in Albuquerque NM. He has been designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure since 2018. He currently works on a team that manages over 100 accounts in the application development space for one of the largest rental car companies in the US. He has experience in automating cloud based processes and supporting the application life cycle for systems deployed in various services on AWS. He currently holds the Solutions Architect Associate Certification from AWS.

Knowing how to manage resources efficiently in the cloud is important especially while first using AWS. Knowing how to get started including creating an AWS account and setting up basic security and monitoring services can ensure success when transitioning to the cloud. This talk will discuss this as well as basic usage of core AWS services including CloudWatch, EC2, and S3.
