As organisations move beyond lift-and-shift, the next frontier is modernising legacy platforms while embracing new patterns like agentic AI. In this session, Nick will explore how customers are rethinking VMware and on-premises workloads, mainframes, and legacy .NET applications on AWS. We’ll look at how Well-Architected practices guide the journey from migration to modernisation and how emerging agentic AI workloads can be built and integrated securely and cost-effectively. Expect practical examples, lessons learned from the field, and a view into how AI-driven architectures are reshaping what “modern” means on AWS today.
