We are the only student cloud club in Atlantic Canada directly backed and authorized by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

☁️ Our Mission: Bridging the Gap with AWS We operate this cloud club like a tech startup with a clear mission: to bridge the critical gap between academic curriculum and real-world enterprise demands. We don't just teach modern cloud concepts; we put them into practice using official AWS cloud products. By directly integrating AWS services into our training, we empower Dalhousie students to transition from learning theoretical architecture to deploying real, scalable projects on the AWS ecosystem

We don't do passive lectures; we build. By leveraging our direct affiliation with AWS, we bring enterprise-level resources directly to the campus: Official AWS Learning & Tools: Members get exclusive access to AWS-provided training materials, official certification roadmaps, cloud credits, and exam vouchers. We give you the exact tools professionals use to ace AWS exams and elevate your resume. Bridging the Project Gap: Forget theoretical whiteboarding. Our hands-on workshops led by our specialized Tech Leads are designed to bridge the gap between basic academic assignments and actual industry production. You will use real AWS services to deploy scalable architectures, explore GenAI tools, and simulate cloud develop environments. AWS-Backed Industry Networking: We actively collaborate with AWS to bring expert guest speakers, Senior Architects, and local AWS Partners directly to our campus. Through exclusive seminars and hackathons, you’ll connect face-to-face with the people shaping the local tech ecosystem.

The goal of this club is to teach students about the AWS Cloud and its various use cases, including those related to security, AI, business analytics, business transformation, etc. We will teach students about the benefits of the cloud and how it accelerates business. Furthermore, the AWS Cloud Club will give students hands-on experience through projects in the AWS cloud, allowing students to develop both technical and business expertise in the cloud. This club will provide students with industry skills currently in high demand.
