The mission of the AWS Cloud Club at Don Bosco Institute of Technology is to:
- Provide students with a solid foundation in cloud computing concepts and AWS services
- Enable hands-on learning through practical labs, projects, and real-world use cases
- Bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements
- Foster a collaborative learning environment through peer learning, mentorship, and community events
- Introduce students to cloud applications in security, AI, business analytics, and digital transformation
- Support students in building technical competence, business understanding, and professional confidence
- Prepare students for cloud certifications, internships, and cloud-related career opportunities

Welcome to Parallax!
Get ready for a high-energy creative competition! The AWS Cloud Club at DBIT, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, is thrilled to present PARALLAX.This event is uniquely designed around poster designing, prompt thinking, teamwork, and innovation. We are bringing together talented participants to test their observation skills, creativity, idea building, website development, and presentation abilities.
📅 Event Details:
- Date: 22nd April, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Venue: Room A-001 (Offline), Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Bengaluru
🏆 The Challenge (The 3 Event Rounds):
- Round 1: Trace It (Keyword War) 🧠 A digital challenge for all 25 teams! Test your observation skills by analyzing AI-generated posters to guess the exact 6 keywords (and 1 bonus keyword) used to create them, followed by a rapid memory quiz.
- Round 2: Ground Zero (Poster Recreation) 🎨 The top 12 teams advance! One team member gets just 60 seconds to memorize a poster and explain it to their team. You must recreate the poster, develop an innovative idea around it, and present your concept to the judges.
- Round 3: The Pitch Room (Website Development) 💻 The final showdown for the Top 6 teams! You will have exactly 1 hour to build a demo website based on your poster concept, followed by a high-stakes 3-minute pitch. Judges will evaluate based on creativity, design, functionality, and presentation.
