Bot Forge 2025

Bot Forge 2025 is a two-day, hands-on technical workshop organized by AWS Cloud Club LPU, focused on building production-ready Discord bots with real backend systems.
Unlike basic bot tutorials, this workshop takes participants through the complete engineering workflow — from core bot logic to backend APIs, database integration, and real-world scalability concepts. All sessions are beginner-friendly and taught line-by-line, ensuring participants can follow along regardless of prior experience.
Over the course of two days, participants will:

• Build a fully functional Discord bot using **Python and Discord.py**
• Design and implement a FastAPI backend with real API endpoints
• Integrate a database for persistent data storage
• Work with async communication and modular architectures
• Push their project to GitHub and present a live demo

The program also includes a collaborative build phase where students apply what they’ve learned to create a production-style bot, gaining practical experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and system design.
By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a portfolio-ready project, improved backend and automation skills, and a strong understanding of how modern Discord bots are engineered at scale.
