This event aims to introduce basic and practical IoT concepts through simple discussions and hands-on activities. It encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity as participants work on small projects together. By bridging the gap between physical hardware and cloud infrastructure, students will learn how to transform a concept into a live, connected solution.

1:30 PM – Start of Program: Formal opening and housekeeping rules.
1:35 PM – Opening Remarks: Address by AWSCC-PUP SBD IoT Lead.
1:43 PM – Icebreaker: Interactive activity to build team rapport.
1:50 PM – Speaker #1 Talk: Concept to Connection – The IoT Landscape.
2:07 PM – Speaker #2 Talk: Cloud Integration – Leveraging AWS for IoT.
2:25 PM – Workshop Intro: Goals and technical walkthrough for the challenge.
2:45 PM – Kit Distribution: Rapid distribution of microcontrollers and sensors.
2:50 PM – IoT Challenge Race: Hands-on activity to build, code, and connect.
3:50 PM – Break: Networking and refreshments.
4:10 PM – Grab & Guess: Interactive game during Judge Deliberation.
4:25 PM – Awarding Ceremony: Recognition of winners and certificate handover.
5:00 PM – End of Program: Egress and venue restoration.
What to Expect:
Participants will engage in a fast-paced "IoT Race" where they will assemble hardware and navigate rotational stations. You will work in teams to solve specific technical challenges using provided IoT kits and simulation platforms.
What to Bring:
- Laptop & Charger: Essential for coding and configuration.
- Jumper Wires: If possible, please bring your own (M-M, M-F) to ensure your team has extras.
- Valid ID: Required for entry into the ArthaLand Pacific Century Tower.
How to Find Us:
- Proceed to the 21st Floor of the ArthaLand Pacific Century Tower.
- Check in at the AWS Reception desk.
- AWSCC and PUP Wired ushers will be stationed at the elevator lobby to guide you to the designated workshop wing.
