This Thursday, November 21st, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Lilie Lab, AWS Cloud Club at Rice is thrilled to host a fireside chat with Jacob Kasner (Class of 2025), a three-time intern at Amazon Web Services and holder of 7 AWS certifications. You will learn more insights to uncover the “myth” of a career in cloud computing. At the event, you will hear about:
• Jacob’s journey: how his first internship at Sparrow set the foundation for his career in cloud computing.
• Interview process and preparation for AWS (and other companies hiring for cloud computing roles) ;
• Projects Jacob contributed to in his past three summers at AWS;
• Breaking down AWS certifications: their value and how to choose the right one for you.
The event will be followed with a Q&A session for students interested in Jacob’s experience and resources available at AWS Cloud Club.
