Serverful Computing: Launching EC2 Spot Instances

Serverless vs. Serverful is a two-session workshop that compares cloud architectures where you either let the cloud manage servers for you or manually configure and control them. Participants will learn the key differences, trade-offs, and when to use each approach.

Serverful (Part 2) focuses on the traditional cloud approach where developers manually provision, configure, and manage servers to run applications. This session will also feature the announcement of the Top 15 Finalists of the Innovation Cup Cebu 2026, in collaboration with AWS Cloud Club – UP.
