AI is no longer just generating content—it is beginning to act. As agentic AI systems gain autonomy, they introduce powerful new capabilities alongside entirely new risks. This session provides an accessible introduction to agentic AI security, showing how trust, identity, and control become interesting problems when software systems can make decisions on our behalf.
Beyond the technology, this talk challenges students to rethink how they prepare for careers in cloud, security, and AI. With AI accelerating skill commoditization, standing out now requires more than knowing tools or passing exams. We’ll discuss how to develop real leverage through systems thinking, practical experience, and an understanding of risk—qualities that remain valuable regardless of how fast technology changes.
Students will leave with both a clearer understanding of where AI security is headed and a concrete framework for separating themselves in an increasingly automated world.
