Welcome to the AWS Cloud Club at Duke University! Our mission is to provide Duke graduate students in the Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) program, as well as those in other disciplines who are passionate about data engineering and cloud, with a platform and community to build portfolio data engineering projects. As a student-led and student-driven user group, we focus on learning about the Cloud through AWS technologies.
In this club, our goal is to teach students about the AWS Cloud and its diverse range of use cases. We cover topics such as Cloud computing, AI, business analytics, and data engineering. By exploring the benefits of the cloud, we aim to demonstrate how it can accelerate business growth. Additionally, the AWS Cloud Club offers hands-on experience with projects in the AWS cloud, allowing students to develop both technical and business expertise in this powerful platform. These industry-relevant skills are currently in high demand.
