This session will dive into two fundamental AWS services and give you some practical, hands-on experience.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): We’ll break down how to securely manage user access and permissions in AWS. This is a core concept for keeping your cloud environment safe.
- Simple Storage Service (S3): Discover S3, AWS’s scalable object storage service. We'll cover what it is, how it works, and its many use cases, from hosting websites to storing backups.
- Hands-On Lab: Get ready to put what you've learned into practice! We’ll guide you through creating an S3 bucket and managing permissions using IAM.

- Your laptop is required for this session to participate in the hands-on lab.
- A notebook and pen.
- Your AWS account credentials (if you have one). If not, we'll help you set one up.
