Free In-person Hackathon: Code with Kiro 🚀

Hi AWS Builders! 👋

It's official — the community voted, and 15th August it is.

We're taking the AWS UG Vadodara Builder Series to Kiro, AWS's AI-powered IDE that takes you from idea to working app with spec-driven development. No talks this time — just building, together, for a full day.

Udit Parikh (AWS) will host the session, with volunteers around to help through the day.

15th August is Independence Day. Feels right to spend it building something of our own. 🧡

Build under one of three categories:
🤝 Community Tools — help a tech community run better: event ops, engagement, feedback, discovery
🎓 Learning & Student Enablement — help students or early-career builders learn cloud/AI faster
🌐 Open Builder Tools — a utility or workflow any AWS builder could pick up and use

The day:
10:00 — Check-in & Kiro setup
10:20 — Kickoff + problem statement with Udit
10:45 — Build Sprint 1
12:30 — Light snacks
1:00 — Build Sprint 2
1:30 — Demos (2-3 min/team)
1:50 — Judging & prizes

Winners announced and prizes handed out right there at the meetup.
