About the Speakers
Dewald De Jager: A software engineer at Entelect, Dewald is passionate about learning, DevOps, observability, and cloud tech (especially Kubernetes and AWS). He is an open-source advocate and enjoys exploring new tech to tackle complex challenges. When he's AFK, you can find him reading, hiking, longboarding, playing guitar, or handling dad duties. Veliswa Boya: A Senior Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Veliswa works closely with the developer community of Sub-Saharan Africa and globally. Her tech background includes software development, business and systems analysis, solutions architecture, and cloud engineering. Veliswa loves mentoring those new to technology and those seeking guidance in navigating their way through technology careers.
