re:Invent 2023 re:Cap with Matheus Guimaraes from AWS!
Details
Somehow, another year has passed, and another AWS re:Invent has happened, bringing with it a raft of new services and features.
For those not familiar, re:Invent is AWS's main annual conference that was held in Las Vegas at the end of November 2023.
In January we are holding a re:Cap event covering many of the big items that have been recently launched. Expect some audience interation, some stickers and a few other goodies from AWS if you are able to attend!
We've got a very special guest speaker in the form of Matheus Guimaraes from AWS, who is the Senior Developer Advocate for the UK and Ireland, and is expertly placed to talk through the big things going on in the world of AWS!
This meetup is kindly sponsored by BJSS, who will be providing the venue, food and drink.

18:00 - 18:30: Pizza arrives, more time for people to turn up - please arrive by 18:30 or you may not be able to get in!

Code of Conduct
Like a large number of other communities, we have an anti harassment policy and code of conduct, in order to support the inclusive nature of our events. Please view here. It is necessary for all attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at any AWS Leeds to agree with the code of conduct.
Helping with diversity and inclusivity
The organising team for AWS Leeds are keen to promote diversity and inclusivity, in terms of speakers, how events are run, and the composition of the organising team. If you would like to contribute to this aim, particularly if you think you have experiences that you might not consider to be typical for the majority of the tech community, we would be really excited to talk with you at the event.
