Few questions split a room of engineers faster than this one - how should you define your infrastructure?
On one side, Terraform, cloud-agnostic, declarative, with a vast provider ecosystem and a huge community behind it.
On the other, the AWS CDK, real programming languages, high-level constructs, and tight integration with AWS. Both have passionate fans, and both have war stories to tell.
Join us for an evening where two speakers will each make the case for their side. Arguing for Terraform will be Burendo’s Richard Hall and challenging for AWS CDK will be Doza’s Kathryn Dale. Chadrak Holondo will be keeping order and an eye on the clock.
Then the floor opens to you. Challenge the arguments, share your own experiences, and ask the questions you've been wanting to put to someone on the other side of the fence.
At the end of the night, you decide. Every attendee gets a vote, and only one tool gets the crown.
If you have questions you’d like the protagonists to consider in advance or views for either camp, let us know in your RSVP.

Whether you're a state-file veteran, a CDK convert, or still undecided, come and share your view, listen to the arguments and maybe leave with a clearer view of which tool fits which job.
