This time, we are having a gamified learning experience where we are competing with other ~50 AWS User Groups in Europe in an AWS Community GameDay - Builder's Trial. The skill level needed is from the basics to the advanced level (100-300). Get hands-on with AI, security, event-driven architectures, and Kubernetes — no slides, no tutorials. A common scoreboard with global prices.
Please bring your laptop and come with a friend, a team, or solo - we'll form teams of 2 to 4 people on site.
** Agenda for the evening**
18:00: Doors open, and some snacks and drinks are served.
18:30: Teams composition.
19:00–19:20: Online introduction and GameDay kickoff.
19:20: Connect to the platform & teams choose their name.
19:20–21:30: GameDay is running. The live stream is on.
21:30–21:45: Results announcement. Live stream ends.
21:45: Local closing.
What is an AWS GameDay?
An AWS GameDay is a team-based, competitive learning experience that transforms cloud training into an immersive, high-energy event. Unlike traditional workshops, where participants follow step-by-step instructions, GameDay drops teams into a live AWS environment with real infrastructure—often broken, misconfigured, or under attack—and challenges them to find solutions on their own.
Game duration: Around 2 hours of competition between local and international teams.
