• As the Solutions Engineering Lead for IO Connect Services, JC designs and implements innovative cloud-based solutions tailored to diverse client needs. With deep expertise in AWS services, JC leads his team of engineers to design robust, scalable, and secure architectures that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
• Before IO Connect, JC was a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS, with a special focus on Oil & Gas customers. JC had also been a Cloud Operations Manager and Business Systems Architect at Schlumberger in Houston.
• JC holds a bachelor's degree in Cybernetics Engineering and Computer Science and is 3 times AWS Certified including AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
• Gary Stafford, Principal Solutions Architect, AWS
• A seasoned technology leader, speaker, and author, Gary Stafford currently serves as a Principal Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Over the past 4.5 years, he has leveraged his extensive expertise to empower a diverse range of customers, from Retail and FinTech to AdTech/MarTech, ISVs, Media and Entertainment, and HealthTech.
• Before joining AWS, Gary accumulated over 15+ years of senior leadership experience serving as President, SVP, COO, CTO with small technology startups as well as large enterprises. He has also worked as a Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks and a Senior Manager at Accenture.
• Gary's multifaceted background spans over 15+ years in Software Development, Enterprise Architecture, Data Analytics, and AI/ML. This unique combination of business and technical proficiencies enables him to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that drive transformative business outcomes for his clients.

Important instructions

• Event starts at 5:45 pm EST, but please allow at least 15 minutes for security to process registration
• Please ensure that your meetup profile has your full name. Both first and last name are required and we will not be able to register attendees with just abbreviations or incomplete names.
• There are two entrances tot he building, one on 38th st and one on 39th st. If you enter through 38th street, please follow the hallway to proceed to the reception in the front of the building where you can get registered
• There is an optional networking and Q&A event at the event of the meetup
