Talk Abstract
What does it mean for an AI product to be safe AND secure? In this talk we will dive into product safety for AI and agents, what it takes to earn trust by bringing the right products and AI features to market, and how to build AI-focused product security capabilities. This talk opens as we walk through an AI SaaS application hosted on AWS and discuss how to address multi-tenancy, privacy, and identity controls to offer services at scale that offer customers safer ways to use AI. After we finish looking at technology choices, we will discuss product security, risk management, and compliance considerations and how AI Security and AI Red Teaming fit in. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for architecting safer AI applications for their customers and building AI product security capabilities. This talk is aimed at business and product leaders, technologists, and risk and security professionals who want to deep-dive on what it takes to move beyond the AI proof-of-concept. Product management, security, operations, or application R&D experience are helpful, but no AI experience is required.
