Yajat's Bio:
I'm a Lead AI Engineer based in Sydney, working acrss Somantra and AIWhispr, where I build and ship production AI systems spanning cloud infrastructure, backend services, and end-to-end ML workflows. My work covers product engineering, LLM fine-tuning using parameter-efficient techniques (LoRA, PEFT), MLOps, and cloud-native architecture, with hands-on delivery in the edtech and insurance sector. My data science work revolves around AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) analysing how AI search engines like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews respond to queries, uncovering how brands are positioned, surfaced and cited and translating that into actionable analytics. I hold an AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate certification and am completing an MS in Data Science and Innovation at UTS.
